Sharing the Light of Christ

Who We Are

Our Basic Values

Cloverdale United Methodist Church is made up of all different kinds of people.  We have a wide range of ages, and backgrounds, and income levels.  People come from Cloverdale, as well as many miles away.

Our clothing style is generally casual.  Our worship would be called "blended," in that we use new music, and old music.  We use organ, piano, keyboard, guitars and drums.  Sometimes we use video, sometimes we use drama.

We expect our church to be a place of joy!  A place where faith is learned and celebrated, where difficulties are met head on, where people matter and God is at the center.

The Good News we proclaim is a message of hope and grace, not amessage of condemnation or judgment.   We have been sent into the world not to condemn the world, but so that the world might have abundant life through Christ.

The Church is a fellowship for those who know, and for those who question, for those who are whole, for those who are broken, for those who are ike us, and those who are unlike us.

Where you have been, or what you have done, or how you dress are not important.  All that matters is that you have come seeking God.
