Blessings!
We have experienced a real blessing in our church! The mortgage on the parsonage has been paid off! Everyone in the church
worked so hard and made a real difference in helping to pay off the balance due in such an incredibly short amount of time. It is a real blessing to see the church pull together and achieve such an impressive goal. We are all so lucky to be a part of such a fantastic church family that works together so incredibly well. What a wonderful thing it if for the church to be debt free!
But, we also have more to celebrate than just being financially debt free. Our spiritual debts have been paid for as well.
When Jesus gave his life for us on the cross, he cancelled out our spiritual debts as well. Because of his sacrifice, all of our past mistakes and failures have been wiped away and we can live with the freedom and joy that comes from being spiritually debt free.
So today, we can celebrate being debt free at our church and in our lives. Thanks to all who worked o hard and sacrificed so much for the church to pay off the mortgage of the parsonage so quickly, and, of course we should all say THANKS to the Lord for his sacrifice for us. What a blessing!
