WALKING THROUGH LOSS TO LIFE –
A GRIEF WORKSHOP
An 8-week workshop dealing with grief will be offered at the church beginning on Sept. 15 at 7:00. Through discussion, sharing, or just listening, this workshop offers a chance to learn about the process of living through a devastating loss and working toward healing. The sessions will cover such thing as the facts and myths about grief, dealing with anger and non-grievers, handling stress in positive ways, the role of religion in grief, living through the holidays and other celebrations, and growing through loss. You will be helped to understand the powerful emotions you are having, to renew your spirit, and to honor your loved one. Contact Al Tucker or Dixie Wilson if you desire further information. This workshop is open to anyone in the community, so please help spread the word in both our church and community. It is also helpful to anyone who is walking alongside someone who is deeply grieving.
